LARKANA: SSP Larkana Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan in his press briefing claimed here on Tuesday that from 10th to 31st October 31, 2022, as many as 16 criminal cases were busted, 45 active criminals were arrested, 11 were nabbed during police encounters in a wounded condition and 147 wanted criminals were also taken to task during past 21 days of his posting performance.
He said that 43 weapons and 116 ammunition, 25 kg of hashish and 35 stolen and robbed motorcycles were also recovered during the same period. Dr. Imran said that apart from this, considerable success was also achieved during the investigation in the recovery of looted cash in various categories, in which about Rs 40 lakhs of cash and valuable jewelry were recovered from the criminals.
However, he further claimed important traced cases have also been resolved which include cash robbery in Market police station, Khalid Kalhoro robbery from Benazir Income Support Program agent, Owais Chandio’s cash and jewelry theft in police station Bakrani. He said that the murder Junejo case in the limits of police station civil line, the arrest of an active group involved in motorcycle theft in Larkana city and the cases of house robbery have also been traced in the limits of Sachal police station.
