SSP Shaheed Benazirabad takes notice of viral robbery video, orders arrest of suspects

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, has ordered a prompt and comprehensive investigation into an incident of street crime after a report of a robbery from a senior journalist’s son went viral on social media.

Expressing severe displeasure over the matter today, the SSP took strict notice of the viral report of cash being snatched from journalist Zulfiqar Khaskheli’s son.

In an immediate directive, SSP Channa instructed the Station House Officer (SHO) of the concerned police station and the in-charge of the Madadgar 15 helpline to ascertain the full details of the robbery and to intensify efforts to apprehend the culprits.

Reiterating the fundamental duty of the police department, SSP Channa stated that “the protection of the lives and property of citizens is our foremost priority.” He has ordered police units to ensure the immediate arrest of the individuals involved, the recovery of the stolen money, and the initiation of stern legal action against them.

The SSP issued a stern warning to his subordinates, emphasizing that any leniency towards criminal elements will not be tolerated. He further directed that all available resources be utilized to provide security to the public and maintain law and order in the district.

SSP Channa personally assured the affected journalist, Zulfiqar Khaskheli, pledging that the requirements of justice will be fully met and the culprits will be brought into legal custody without delay.
