A state-of-the-art computerized Examination Center, sponsored by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof Ikram Din Ujjan at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro

According to a LUMHS statement issued today, addressing the inaugural session, the Vice Chancellor expressed that the establishment of this state-of-the-art computerized examination center represented a significant advancement in their commitment to providing high-quality, efficient, and secure examination services for undergraduates as well as for postgraduates.

He said: “This examinationcenter will help to address the escalating requirement for technologically advanced and streamline examination procedures, and this initiative is designed to cater to a wide range of academic and professional examination needs, ensuring a seamless, secure, and efficient testing environment.”

The Vice Chancellor extended his deepest gratitude to the Higher Education Commission for their generous funding and unwavering support in making this project a reality. Their investment in this initiative underscores their commitment to advancing educational standards and providing the necessary resources for technological advancement in examination processes.

He added that the examination center contained four Labs, each lab equipped with high-performance computers with cutting-edge software and hardware to facilitate a range of testing formats. “Advanced security measures are implemented, including biometric verification, CCTV surveillance, and secure login protocols to maintain the integrity of the examination process.”

Ujjan informed that on-site technical support and administrative staff would be available to assist candidates with any issues during the examination process. The computerized system would significantly reduce the time required for exam administration and result processing, enabling quicker turnaround times for candidates and institutions, he added
