The Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) started a two-day symbolic hunger strike against drugs, gambling, and other social evils on Saturday morning.
STP leaders Mansoor Soomro, Ashiq Noonari, Sajan Chandio, and Shabbir Channa led the strike and drew attention to the growing problem of drug trafficking and related social issues. A large number of party members, local residents, traders, and political figures participated in it.
The protesters chanted strong slogans against the drug business and social issues, while the leaders expressed concern over the devastating effects of drugs on the youth.
