A suspected robber was arrested after an exchange of fire with police on Sunday near the Inter Board Office adjacent to Bakhtiari Ground on the main road near the Inter Board Office, while his accomplice escaped.
Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police identified the injured suspect as Ibrahim alias Raghu, son of Muhammad Jalal.
Following the incident, police recovered a pistol, a motorcycle and two mobile phones, which are believed to have been snatched.
The arrested person was immediately shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
