Larkana:Provincial Minister for Works and Services Syed Zia Abbas Shah paid a surprise visit to the ongoing development projects in Larkana. During the visit, he expressed anger over the delay in five ongoing uplift schemes under the provincial building sector. These projects include Larkana Circuit House, Judges Lodge, Food Courts, Commissioner Additional Block and Sports Complex.
Instructing to complete the ongoing development projects as soon as possible, Syed Zia Abbas Shah said that in case of further delay, strict disciplinary action would be taken against the concerned engineers. Later, the provincial minister also visited the ongoing road construction and paving projects and while praising the road development work and related engineers, he said that the construction of highways has a significant impact on the economy hence uncalled for delays should be avoided.
Syed Zia Abbas Shah further said that the connection of remote areas with the cities facilitates employment for the local people. Shah said that laying of roads across the province would further boost the economic activities while the construction of roads would help the locals in transportation and promotion of business activities. After the visit, the provincial minister presided over a high level meeting in Larkana and issued orders on the occasion to complete schemes on time or face the music, he warned the engineers.
