Talks between the Balochistan Government and the sit-in committee succeed; protest called off; transfer of martyrs’ bodies to Ziarat begins.

The protest has ended peacefully following successful negotiations today between the Balochistan government and the sit-in committee. Provincial authorities have now initiated the process of transferring the bodies of the martyrs to their native area, Ziarat.

Shahid Rind, Balochistan’s Provincial Minister for Information and Political Affairs, announced that comprehensive arrangements have been made for the dignified transfer of the bodies, in accordance with the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. He emphasized that ambulances, equipped with all necessary facilities and robust security arrangements, would soon depart for Ziarat.

He also highlighted that the sacrifices of these martyrs are a source of national pride. The Government of Balochistan is committed to sharing in the grief of the bereaved families and will continue to undertake measures to ensure their welfare and honour.
