Authorities in Jhang have arrested six suspected drug dealers and seized a significant quantity of narcotics and illicit liquor in a series of targeted operations conducted over the past 24 hours.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Adnan, Sibtain, Gulzar, Waqar Ahmed, Hassan Raza, and Munawar. During the operations, police recovered 7,380 grams of hashish and 112 liters of liquor from the suspects’ possession.
Following the seizure, formal cases have been registered against the suspects.
DPO Sajid Hussain affirmed today that a zero-tolerance policy is in effect for individuals involved in the drug trade, particularly those endangering the future of the younger generation. He emphasized that the full enforcement of the law will be strictly ensured.
The police chief also appealed to the community, encouraging residents to support the efforts of law enforcement agencies in the shared responsibility of fostering a safe and healthy society.
