A 16-year-old girl tragically committed suicide at a residence in Korangi on Monday, after which police launched a formal investigation to determine the motives behind the death.
The deceased has been identified as Iqra. The incident took place at a house located in Sector 31-D of Pand T Colony.
According to initial reports, the young girl’s death was caused by hanging. Upon receiving information, her body was transferred to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal procedures.
Officials from the Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) police station have registered the incident and initiated further investigation. Authorities state that a comprehensive investigation is underway to ascertain the full details of the case.
