A 17-year-old teenager took his own life by shooting himself on Sunday in Federal B Area, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
According to officials, the deceased was identified as Yaseen, son of Alauddin. The fatal incident occurred near Abdullah Center in Block 16 of the area.
Rescue and law enforcement agencies reached the scene where the teenager was pronounced dead on the spot.
The teenager’s body was later moved to a local hospital to fulfill medico-legal requirements.
