Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, today asserted that national development is impossible without peace, identifying dialogue as the most effective solution for resolving all contemporary challenges.

In a message marking the International Day of Peaceful Coexistence, the governor described such coexistence as the cornerstone of a civilised and progressive society, stating the day conveys a significant message of tolerance, patience, and mutual regard.

Governor Tessori remarked that the province of Sindh has for centuries been a symbol of amity, affection, and interfaith concord, where people from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds have resided together with reciprocal esteem.

He added that Pakistan”s authentic strength is found in its unity, which transcends distinctions of colour, creed, or race. He further noted that the Governor House, now accessible to the public, has become a practical centre for social harmony.
