A Thanksgiving and Protection of Pakistan Rally was held under the leadership of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Latif Akbar. The purpose of the rally was to celebrate the victory achieved in Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous against India.

Participants of the rally marched from the Legislative Assembly Secretariat to the Martyrs’ Memorial, carrying the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. During the march, participants chanted slogans in favor of Pakistan, the Pakistan Armed Forces, and the Kashmir freedom movement.

Officers, staff of the Legislative Assembly, and media representatives participated in the rally. Flowers were laid at the Martyrs’ Memorial, and tributes were paid to the martyrs.

Speaking to the media, Chaudhry Latif Akbar praised the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and congratulated on the success of Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous. He also spoke about Pakistan’s historic victory and opposition to global imperialist forces.

Chaudhry Latif Akbar announced that tomorrow, on May 14th, a “Long Live Pakistan” procession will be taken out from Secretariat Chattar to the Line of Control in Chakothi. On this occasion, tributes will be paid to Pakistan’s political and military leadership.
