Three suspicious individuals were taken into police custody for legal proceedings following a comprehensive search and combing operation conducted within the jurisdiction of the Bhara Kahu police station today.
The security initiative, carried out under the supervision of the SP Rural, was part of a broader effort to enhance public safety in the federal capital. During the sweep, authorities thoroughly inspected 107 individuals, 72 houses, 23 vehicles, and 53 motorcycles.
These measures are being implemented on a regular basis across various parts of the city, following directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to curb illicit activities and bolster security.
SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that the primary objective of such operations is to tighten the security cordon around criminal elements and reinforce the city”s overall security framework.
He affirmed that the Islamabad Police will continue to take indiscriminate action against lawbreakers, including land grabbers and drug traffickers.
Officials also urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement and to immediately report any unusual or suspect activity to the nearest police station or via the emergency helpline ‘Pucar-15’.
