Authorities informed today that they have taken three suspicious individuals into custody for legal proceedings following a comprehensive search operation conducted within the jurisdiction of the Humak police station.
The security check, supervised by the SP Soan Zone, involved the thorough inspection of 137 individuals, 83 houses, 45 motorcycles, and 13 other vehicles as part of a wider law enforcement initiative.
According to SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, the primary objective of such sweeps is to tighten the security cordon around criminal elements and reinforce the city”s overall safety framework.
The operation aligns with directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to implement special measures aimed at curbing illicit activities across the federal capital.
SSP Raza affirmed that the Islamabad Police will continue to take resolute action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers.
Officials have also called upon residents to cooperate with law enforcement and to report any unusual activity promptly to the nearest police station or through the “Pucar-15” emergency helpline.
