Three including two children bitten by stray dogs in Madeji

LARKANA:Three people including two children were bitten by stray dogs in Madeji on Saturday which included Imran son of Ali Madad Hakro, 6-years Ayat Khatoon daughter of Nadeem Sahto of Sahta village and 7-years Pirh daughter of Dal Kharos, resident of village Piyaro Kharos near Madeji.

All the affected children were brought to Taluka Hospital where their wounds were dressed and anti-rabies vaccine was provided to them. The parents of the bitten children complained to media persons that a large number of stray dogs are roaming in their villages but despite repeated complaints they have not yet been killed causing serious hardships for them and their children.

They demanded registration of FIRs against the relevant municipal officers and UC secretaries as per court directions for their sheer negligence, violation of court directives or else they warned, protests will be held against them.

Meanwhile, members of Panhwar community held a protest at Jinnah Bagh in Larkana for non-registration of FIR against authorities of town committee, Sanghar.

Protesters Bakhshal Panhwar, Hafiz Roshan Panhwar, Asadullah and others said that on 5th December 6-year Kausar Panhwar died of using poisonous substance which was thrown outside her home by town committee officials for killing stray dogs.

They said her mother has been admitted since then in Nawabshah Hospital after her daughter’s tragic death. They demanded registration of FIR against TMO Shahmir Jamali and ADC Ghaffar Soomro as they held them responsible for the death of the little girl.
