Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, today issued a stern warning that negligence will not be tolerated, directing law enforcement officials to launch an indiscriminate crackdown on drug peddling and illegal arms across the capital.
The instructions were delivered during a key meeting chaired by the SSP Operations, which was attended by zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs), Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), and Station House Officers (SHOs) from relevant police stations.
Mr Raza instructed the assembled officers to enhance patrolling and ensure the effective prevention of criminal activities. He underscored the importance of maintaining public safety through transparent and high-quality investigations.
A further emphasis was placed on the necessity for a swift and proficient response to any emergency situation, with the SSP cautioning that complacency at any level would not be permitted.
Reaffirming the force”s primary responsibility, SSP Qazi Ali Raza stated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the paramount priority for the Islamabad Police.
He assured that all necessary measures would be implemented to guarantee public security, adding that the capital”s police force remains committed to serving and protecting residents with professionalism and dedication around the clock.
