Two Interprovincial Robbers Killed in Okara Police Encounter, 2 Escape

Two interprovincial robbers were killed in a shootout with police near Peer Di Hatti, a suburban area under the jurisdiction of City Police Station. The deceased were identified as Sameer and Ali Hussain, who had cases registered against them for 20 serious crimes, including murder, robbery, and highway theft. Warrants for their arrest were pending in Sindh and Punjab law enforcement agencies, including Karachi, Lahore, and Pakpattan.

The encounter took place when a fourmember gang snatched a motorcycle from a citizen at gunpoint in the 38/D suburban area. Responding to the incident, police officials pursued the fleeing suspects, who opened fire upon seeing the police. During the exchange of fire, two robbers were critically injured, allegedly by their own accomplices’ bullets. The remaining two criminals managed to escape. Authorities recovered the stolen motorcycle and weapons from the scene. Special teams have been formed to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
