SHIKARPUR:Two persons were killed in a road accident within the limits of New Faujdari police station here on Saturday evening.
According to rescue sources, two motorcyclists identified as Abdul Sami Khoso, a resident of village Jamra, district Shikarpur, and Abdul Malik Mahar, a resident of Pano Aqil, were travelling on a bike when a speeding truck hit them on the National Highway in Shikarpur. As a result, both died on the spot.
The area police with the help of citizens shifted the bodies to the RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur for medico-legal formalities. Police has impounded the truck and arrested its driver. No FIR could be lodged till filing this report.
