Two individuals were arrested following an armed encounter between law enforcement agencies and alleged robbers in the Landhi area on Wednesday, with one suspect also sustaining injuries during the incident.
The incident occurred near Haqqani Masjid in the Landhi No. 04 area of Korangi district, where an exchange of fire took place between police personnel and the suspects.
Following the exchange of fire, authorities successfully took both individuals into custody. Officers at the scene recovered a pistol with ammunition and a motorcycle from the site.
The injured suspect was immediately transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
Officials at the Landhi Police Station have confirmed that a formal investigation into the matter has been initiated to ascertain further details.
