Visit of Federal Minister for Water Resources to the National Institute of Child Health, Karachi to enquire about the health of a child who has been bitten by street dogs

Islamabad, November 15, 2019 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda on Friday visited the National Institute of Child Health, Karachi to enquire about the health of a child who has been bitten by street dogs and shifted to the NICH, Karachi from Larkana for medical treatment. Opposition Leader Sindh Assembly Fardous Shamim Naqvi was also present on this occasion. The Minister directed the hospital administration to ensure the best medical treatment to the patient. Faisal Vawda also met with the parents of the patient and assured his full support in this regard. Later, while interacting with the media persons, Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda maintained that the health condition of six years old Husnain is very sad and leaders of Sindh province are very senseless.

He further said that he saw a nascent child dying in the lap of his mother before this incident of Husnain and this is really very painful to see. He further clarified that Federal Government had provided the vaccine for rabies to the Government of Sindh but Sindh did not purchase vaccines after that. He further says that inspite of negligence of Sindh Government; we will not let the people dying at the mercy of these leaders.

He stated that Government of Sindh should stop this non serious attitude and provide complete health facilities to all the children including this one. The Federal Minister further said that the Government of Sindh has the mandate and we instead of criticising the Singh Government, want to realize them that they have responsibilities to perform in Sindh. He formally asked the Government of Sindh to lets resolve all these issues together and fully endorsed the “Dogs Killing Campaign” of Government of Sindh.
