Islamabad, January 18, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamabad Capital Police Ramna police team arrested a wanted member of a house burglar gang involved in a series of criminal activities, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, all zonal officers were directed to accelerate their efforts in order to curb crime from the city.
Following these directions, a Raman police station team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a house burglar gang involved in criminal activities. The accused was identified as Khawar.
Police team also recovered cash Rs 130,000 and stolen valuables from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. Senior police officers appreciated the performance of the police team and added that it is the prime responsibility of police to provide relief to the citizens and every possible effort would be made to ensure it.
