PADIDAN:A woman was killed and a man injured over the charge of a notorious tradition of Karo-Kari in village Pir Sadiq near Padidan town on Friday.
Accused Zulfikar Khaskheli attacked his wife Shaila Khaskheli and Bilawal Bhatti with a iron-wood stick over the charge of a notorious tradition of Karo-Kari in village Pir Sadiq near Padidan town. As a result, both got injured severely. The accused fled to unknown destination soon after committing the murder.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment, where woman died. The incident has created a tense situation in the village. The parents said that their daughter had been killed brutally without any guilt. They demanded arrest of the accused and severe punishment to him. The police have started a search for the culprit.
