Women kidnappers gang busted by Larkana police; two abductees recovered

LARKANA: Market police on Saturday claimed to have recovered a woman along with her minor child who was allegedly abducted from Punjab and they arrested a gang involved in her kidnapping.

According to details, 25-year old Sakina, daughter of Rana Rajput, wife of Rajib Araen, was recovered along with her baby. Police arrested a gang consisting of a woman and two men and registered an FIR against them at Market police station on the application of cop Zulfiqar Jatoi.

According to the FIR, the gang is involved in kidnapping helpless and destitute women from Punjab and other parts of the country and selling them in different provinces where they are abused. The arrested were identified as Javed, son of Wali Mohammad Bhatti; Ashraf, son of Javed Bhatti; and Asiya, wife of Javed Bhatti. The police further claimed that they had come to Jinnah Bagh to sell the woman where they were arrested.

SSP Sarfraz Nawaz Shaikh congratulated the Market police for their successful raid and directed that the scope of investigation should be enlarged. The accused were produced before 3rd Judicial Magistrate who ordered to send them to Central Prison.
