Karachi police officials have confirmed that a 25-year-old woman was allegedly shot and killed by her husband following a domestic dispute in the city’s Korangi area on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Kainat, wife of Taj Muhammad. The fatal shooting incident occurred near Qasim Sweets in Korangi No. 06.
According to the initial report from the Zaman Town Police Station, the shooting was the result of a domestic altercation between the husband and wife.
The victim’s body has been transferred to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for the completion of medico-legal procedures.
Authorities have stated that a case has been registered and further investigation into the murder has been initiated.
