In occupied Kashmir, a youth was injured after Indian army opened fire on protesters in Shopian district, today. The incident took place at Barthipora hamlet, where army fire bullets and pellets on protesting youth, which left one youth injured identified as Adil Ahmad Wagay.
Reports said Adil was hit by bullet and rushed to nearby hospital. A senior police official said that army’s Rashtriya Rifles opened fire on protesters at Barthipora. Doctors at DH Pulwama said that a youth with bullet injuries in right leg is undergoing treatment at the facility.
