Youth killed in Karachi’s Orangi, several injured including security guards

Several incidents of violence and criminal activities occurred in various districts of Karachi on Monday.

In Sector 11½ of Orangi Town, 23-year-old Muhammad Shoaib Iqbal was shot and killed for unknown reasons. Authorities have moved his body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination and are investigating the incident.

In Jahangirabad, police arrested three dacoits after a confrontation near the riverbank. One suspect was injured in the clash. During the operation, officers also recovered weapons, mobile devices, and motorcycles. The injured suspect is receiving medical attention while investigations are ongoing.

Near the Sohrab Goth Sugar Market, one criminal was injured and arrested in an exchange of fire between police and criminals, while another managed to escape. A weapon was recovered from the scene, and the injured suspect is under treatment as authorities conduct further investigations.

In Gulshan-e-Maymar, near Afghan Cut, two security guards were injured in a personal dispute. The injured have been moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the conflict.

In Sukkan, a person was injured in a shooting incident on Abdul Latif Road No. 8, reportedly the result of a financial dispute. They were transferred to Jinnah Hospital, and authorities are examining the circumstances of the incident.

Lastly, in Malir City, Manzoor was injured near Malir Court due to an ongoing personal enmity. He has been admitted to Jinnah Hospital, and an investigation is underway to uncover the motives behind the attack.
