The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ziauddin University is preparing to host the International Conference on Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from January 23 to 25, 2025, at the Abul Hassan Jaffery Auditorium, Clifton Campus, Karachi.
This event will convene professionals and researchers to discuss major advancements in pharmacy and healthcare.
According to a statement by Ziauddin University, the conference, themed “Shaping the Future of Global Healthcare Through Research and Innovation,” aims to promote collaboration and inspire research to tackle global healthcare challenges. It underscores the importance of pharmacy in developing sustainable healthcare systems, addressing medication safety, and enhancing patient outcomes.
The conference will feature over ten international speakers and 25 national speakers. Notable keynote speakers include Trudi Hilton from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, who will discuss medication safety, and Dr. Zaheer-Ud-Din Baber from Qatar University, who will provide insights into clinical pharmacy practices.
The event will also welcome esteemed guests such as Mr. Asim Rauf, CEO of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Bakheet Ateeq, Consul General of UAE, as the Guest of Honour.
Additionally, 25 researchers will present their research articles, supported by 50 poster presentations from participants across Pakistan. The conference will also offer six pre-conference workshops, providing opportunities for skill-building and academic growth.
