(District): Court orders lodging of case against paramedics

Larkana: The III-Additional Sessions Judge/Justice of Peace, Larkana, while disposing off application under section 22 (A and B) Cr. P.C., has ordered SHO Civil Lines Police Station, Larkana, in Cr. Misc. Application No. 1142 of 2020 filed by Liaquat Ali son of Ibraheem Chandio, resident of village Drigh of Taluka Miro Khan, to register FIR against Zamir Hussain Sangi, Aftab Ahmed Chandio, Ghulam Mustafa Kalhoro, Munwar Ali Mangi, Ghulam Hussain Langah, Pir Muhammad Mashori, Abdul Jabbar, Noor Muhammad Mastoi, Ravi Kumar, all workers of Pakistan Paramedical Staff Association and employees of Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana.

The applicant in his application stated that his father Ibrahim Chandio suddenly got an attack of paralysis on 22.9.2020 and he took him to Civil Hospital but above proposed accused persons drove him out from Civil Hospital because they were on strike without provision of medical treatment.

The Judge Muhammad Ali Qureshi said in his order that the matter appears to be of public importance as the health workers are allegedly on strike, therefore, the lives of the ailing people are at risk and the applicant being one of the affected people, states that the proposed accused who are also health workers committed the cognizable offence when he along with his ill-father went to Civil Hospital for treatment.
