QUETTA: Balochistan assembly its session here Thursday with Speaker Rahila Durrani in the chair adopted a condolence resolution.
Resolution was jointly moved by Rehmat Saleh Baloch and Mohtarma Yasmeen Lehri.
It said this House (Balochistan assembly) expresses regret over sudden death of Mohtarma Asima Jahangir who all along her life struggled for supremacy of Constitution and law, Parliament, sustainable democracy and Human rights. It also pays tributes to her selfless social services. Vacuum created in her death would not be filled in for long. Her services all sectors of life particularly law and human rights would always be remembered.
Mohtarma Shahida Rauf, Asim Kurd Gallo, Jaffar Mandokhel, Leader of Opposition Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Zamrak Achakzai, Agha Raza and Abdul Rehman Khetran also spoke on the resolution.
It was adopted from whole of House.
Later House was adjourned for lack of quorum till Saturday.
