Balochistan doctors end strike

Quetta:Doctors Action Committee called off their strike Friday and activities in government-run hospitals resumed.

In the presence of Minister for Heath Naseebullah Marri, Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Department Haider Ali Shikove, and Secretary Health Department Hafiz Abdul Majid, Doctors Action Committee called off their strike.

OPDs at Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta, Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital, Helper Eye Hospital and in all the government run hospitals resumed after 50 days, while normal work in all departments including general surgery also started.

On the end of strike, thousands of patients of the province took a sigh a relief.
