LARKANA: Door to door election campaign has been initiated by PS-11 candidate Nida Khuhro along with her father. She met with people of different communities including Khokhar and Channa Association. Nida accompanied by women workers went to various localities requesting the voters to cast their votes in her favour.
Nisar said on the occasion that agenda of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and MQM is that of disloyalty and breaking of Sindh. GDA is supporter of Kalabagh Dam and MQM wants breaking of Sindh and basis of alliance of MQM and GDA is on this agenda, he said. He said people should expose such elements who wanted to break Sindh.
He said those who attired Ajrak to dictator Zia ul Haq are now included in GDA and the opponents of PPP had nothing to resolve the issues confronted by the masses adding PPP was the sole party which could resolve all issues faced by the residents. Khuhro said their opponents were not considering themselves answerable to the people; hence, they were unable to serve them. He said they faced dictator Pervaiz Musharraf, Arbab Rahim and Liaquat Jatoi and staged sit-ins up to Ubauro against construction of Kalabagh Dam and now they (GDA) would also be exposed before the people.
He said 25th July would be the last day for dictators’ remnants and arrow would come out triumphant. Nida, while addressing women voters of her constituency, said that PPP empowered women and issued them Senate tickets. She said through BISP, the poor women had been given monetary support, adding if they were voted to power, BISP amount would be doubled. She said poverty-ridden women would be issued food cards. She urged them to come out of their houses on polling day to make her successful because if one woman wins, it means winning of every woman.
