QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said Government should help deserving people on priority by participating in social activities. Social Welfare Department should prepare such programme every month government would provide funds for it.

This he stated during collective marriages of 75 couples at Boys Scouts here Saturday. He also announced Rupees 0.1 lakh for each couple and Rupees 20 million for collective expenses. Marriages were arranged by Social Welfare departments. Families of couples danced to the beat of drums.

Adviser on social Welfare Shahzad Saleh Bhutani and provincial minister Tahir Mahmood Khan also spoke on the occasion.

Government officers and families of couples married were also present.

Chief Minister said that helping out such needy people is good thing. Social Welfare Department started collective marriages. Government would fully support it. We suggest that instead of annual programme social Welfare department should hold such programmes every month and government would provide funds for.

Congratulating newlywed couples Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said this is their government. We want their prosperity and progress. He said today’s marriages would become reason for success of country and province. Government has provided each couple with dowry, golden sets, bed, almirah and other daily items.

Later Chief Minister performed their rukhsati.
