Astore: Deputy Commissioner Astore chaired a meeting in his office to review arrangements for a polio immunization campaign in the district, which will start from February 12, 2018.
Addressing the meeting Deputy Commissioner, Wali Khan said that no negligence would be tolerated in forthcoming polio immunization campaign in the district.
He further said that polio is a big issue for the country; therefore, we have to jointly strive for its eradication. He urged that polio drops should be ensured for each and every child of the district.
Commissioner assured District Health officer Mumtaz of his full cooperation during the campaign.
Health officer Mumtaz briefed the meeting about arrangements and target of the campaign. Medical Superintendent of District hospital, Nawab Khan and other concerned officials were also present.
