Garbage collected from one area, dumped in other, regrets advisor

KARACHI:Advisor to Chief Minister for Law, Environment and Coastal Development and Spokesperson of Sindh Government Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that a minister of federal government has created garbage piles in the city in the name of “Clean Karachi Campaign”.

Advisor on Thursday visited KPT Ground adjacent to Mai Kolachi Road where garbage was dumped which was removed from the Neher-e-Khayyam.

He expressed displeasure and directed the Solid Waste Management Officers to immediately remove the waste from KPT Ground.

Talking to media, he claimed that Federal Minister Ali Zaidi had spread dirt and garbage in the city in the name of “Clean Karachi Campaign”.

He asked what was the logic behind collecting sewerage from the Neher-e-Khayyam and dumping it in other localities.

He further said that Federal Government was causing problems for Sindh Province especially Karachi.
