KARACHI:On the occasion of Christmas, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Sayed Kaleem Imam along with senior police officials on Tuesday paid a visit to St Patrick Church in Saddar town of Karachi and offered Christmas greeting to Bishop Joseph and other people of Christian community.
IGP, after reviewing security measurements, said that Sindh police’s security arrangements particularly providing strict security to minorities on their religious festivities are committed and courageous.
Bishop Joseph and other leaders of the Christian community thanked IGP Sindh for his visiting of the church. They also prayed for Sindh Police. However, a large number of the Christians living in Karachi visited churches in different areas of the megacity on the occasion of the Christmas.
