KU cancels five admissions due to forged marks sheets

Karachi: The University of Karachi has cancelled five admissions in the morning program for the academic session 2020 after the verification from the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi and KU Examination Department, the in-charge, Directorate of Admissions, Dr Saima Akhtar, announced on Wednesday.

She mentioned that Affan Nadeem son of Qazi Nadeem Ullah had submitted a tampered marks sheet to get admission to BA (H) in the Department of Economics. His admission form number was 316749 and Hafsa Naeem daughter of Muhammad Naeem submitted a tampered marks sheet in BSc (H) Institute of Space Science and Technology. His admission form number was 324562.

Meanwhile, Dr Saima Akhtar added that marks sheet of Bisma Muneer d/o Muneer Ahmed was also found forged during the verification process. Her admission form number was 324995 and got admission to BSc (H) Institute of Marine Science.

Furthermore, she informed that Naveed Bashir Ahmed s/o Bashir Ahmed had submitted forged marks sheet to get admission in MA Economics. His admission form number was 325356 whereas Muhammad Faizan Alam s/o Muhammad Fakhre Alam submitted a tempered marks sheet to get admission in MPP (Public Policy) in the Department of Political Science.
