Karachi: A meeting of the Standing Committee on Housing and Works was held under the Chairmanship of Mian Abdul Mannan, MNA in QasreNaz Conference Room Karachi on Tuesday.
The Committee offered fathia on demise of HonourableMohammadAyazSomroo, MNA. and admired the role played by the member for strengthening The democracy in the parliament.
The Committee approved the minutes of the last meeting held on 15th February, 2018.The Committee discussed the calling Attention Notice regarding allotmentof government accommodation to National Assembly employees,?moved by MsKhalidaMansoor , MNA.The Committee was informed by the Chairman that after enacted the Act , All employees of National Assembly have entitlement for obtaining the accommodations from Estate Office.
While, considering the matter pertaining to the issues being faced by the Allottees of MAYMAR project in Karachi, The committee expressed its displeasure on the attitude of MAYMAR Group towards their allotties. The Committee was informed by the allottees that management was creating hurdles for obtaining Electricity connections etc
The Committee highlighted the project/Construction quality of ARKADIANS ,AKD Group in Karachi , where in they have built, model Apartments within high raised buildings.
The Committee appreciated the role of ARKADIANS ,AKD Group for offering State of the Art project to the local and overseas Pakistani and foreigners living in Pakistan .
The Committee give an example of the leadership of MrAqeelKarimDhedhi Group Chairman ARKADIANS ,AKD and supervision of Ms Ayesha Dhedhi, CEO , ARKADIANS AKD Group in Construction Work
The Committee constituted a Sub-Committee under the convenership of Madam ShahidaRehmani to look into the issues of MAYMAR Group .
The Committee vist The sites of Carlton hotel Karachi and expressed its satisfaction for perusing the court case by the Housing Authorities to resolve the matter.
The meeting was attended by MsTahira Aurangzeb, MsNighatParveen Mir , MsKhalidaMansoor and Engineer Mohammad UsmanBadini, MNA/Member besides seniors officers from Ministry of Housing and Works.
