Open kachehry held to resolve District West’s problems

KARACHI:On the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, an open kachehry was held at the Community Hall of West District in the city on Saturday.

The kachehry was organized by Deputy Commissioner West Fayyaz Alam Solangi. It was attended among others by Minister for Agriculture Mohammad Ismail Rahu, officers and representatives of all administrative agencies.

Hundreds of people lodged complaints in the kachehry for solution to their problems including non-cleanliness and drinking water shortage. The officers concerned directed their staff to dispose of the complaints as soon as possible. They assured the people of West district of resolving their issued on priority basis.

Addressing the open kachehry, Deputy Commissioner West Fayyaz Alam Solangi said that open kachehry was held to hear public grievances and problems.

Provincial Minister Muhammad Ismael Rahu directed the officials concerned to resolve the citizens issues as soon as possible. The people appealed to the provincial minister to issue orders on public complaints and resolve the same immediately.

The minister assured the people of resolving their issues and grievances as soon as possible. He said that the orders of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had been complied with. He said that the real and difficult issues of the people of the District West would be resolved on priority basis.

SSP West Fida Hussain Janwari received a complaint from the public about drug and gutka menace. He gave SP Baldia Town one-week special task to eliminate this menace. He warned that if all these issues were not resolved within a week, action would be taken.
