PM keen to promote tourism: Sindh governor

KARACHI:Governor Sindh Imran Ismail attended 5th annual convocation of College of Tourism and Management as a chief guest.

Addressing on the occasion, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had special interest in promotion of tourism in the country.

He said that Pakistan is a beautiful country. The incumbent government is making all out efforts for the promotion of tourism in the country and taking practical steps in this regard.

Pakistan’s tourism industry was neglected by the past governments. Increasing foreign investments in tourists spots of the country is proof that tourism industry of the country has the potential for investments.

He informed that 20 to 25 lacs of national and foreign tourists visited the northern areas of the country this year. The tourists are frequently visiting the country after restoration of peace.
