ISLAMABAD:Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi called on Prime Minister Imran here on Monday.
During the meeting, he briefed the Prime Minister about holding the Football League by Peshawar Zalmi. They also discussed measures to promote sports in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister called for providing the best possible sports facilities to our youth to promote their constructive abilities, grooming the available talent.
He said a task force has already been constituted to boost sports activities in the country and its recommendations would help bring necessary reforms in the sports sphere. Javed Afridi assured the Prime Minister of all out cooperation in promoting sports.The Prime Minister appreciated Javed Afridi and Peshawar Zalmi’s endeavors in promotion of sports activities in Pakistan.
