Karachi:AO Clinic successfully defended Dr. MA Shah Trophy 2019 title after comfortably beating Qasmi Cricket Club by five wickets here at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
Qasmi CC batted first in the summit clash and scored a modest total of 96 runs before losing all of their wickets in 15.5 overs. Mohammad Mohsin top scored for the side with 25 runs. Muhammad Musa and Agha Salman bowled lethally and each of them captured three wickets for 14and 23 runs respectively.
In response, AO Clinic easily reached the victory total with Nasir Nawaz playing an unbeaten 45-run knock. Lal Kumar bowled well despite low score to defend, picking three wickets for 23 runs.
