KARACHI: Minister of State, RanaMohammadAfzal Khan Ministry of Finance & Economic Affairs visited Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) and had a very productive meeting with Chancellor Jawaid Anwar and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. MohammadAfzalHaque at the Chancellor’s office.
During the meeting various issues including the development and implementation of such an education system that may produce interest among the students more towards education were discussed.
The Minister also accompanied the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors and others to the classes and observed the working environment of the university.
The Minister was updated by the university management that the university is just running on tuition fees of the students which is on the lowest side. RanaAfzal appreciated SSUET efforts to cater to the weaker sector of society and provide them highest level of technical education as he himself is an engineer.
Chancellor Jawaid Anwar, Vice Chancellor Prof. DrMohammadAfzalHaque and the management thanked the Minister for taking initiatives to resolve the issues related to the academic institutions that shows his commitment to the betterment of education in Pakistan.
