Jhudo: Chairman and vice chairman of Town Committee Jhudo were ousted here Tuesday through a vote of no confidence. Both belonged to the MQM-P.
As per details, two PPP councilors Muhammad Ali Nagori and Saleem Qureshi tables a vote of no confidence against town committee Jhudo chairman Shakeel Qaimkhan and vice chairman Umar Daraz.
Out of total 18 councilors, 12 voted in favor of the no confidence. Two MQM-P councilors also voted against their own chairmen. The elections for the vacant slots of chairman and vice chairman are expected soon.
