KARACHI:Two people were shot and injured by robbers on resistance during separate robbery incidents in Karachi in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to rescue sources, a 50-year-old man, Malik Basheer was shot and injured when two armed robbers on a motorcycle tried to loot the man in Saudabad. As a result of resistance, he sustained injuries and was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.

In a separate incident, a 30-year-old man, Allah Dita, was also injured when he offered resistance to bandits during a robbery incident in Akhtar Colony. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
