LAHORE: Seventeen goats were killed and two persons seriously injured when a truck carrying sacrificial animals overturned at Manga Mandi near Lahore on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, a truck carrying sacrificial animals was on its way to Lahore from Dera Ghazi Khan when it overturned at Manga Mandi near Lahore. The driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to save a car.
A Rescue 1122 team shifted the injured to a local hospital for treatment. The Motorway staff and the police also rushed to the scene and performed rescue operation. No case could be filed till filing this report. The cattle owners suffered heavy loss due to killing of their goats on the eve of Eid. Their happiness’s turned into sadness.
