2 children drowned while bathing in a pond near Ahmedpur

Two children tragically drowned in a pond near Ahmedpur on Tuesday, leaving their families grief-stricken. Eight-year-old Abdullah Metlo son of Mehboob Metlo and ten-year-old Samina Metlo daughter of Soomal Metlo, residents of nearby village Khara Bux Metlo, were bathing in the pond when the incident occurred. The children went into deep water and drowned. Local residents responded to calls for help, but unfortunately could not save the children. The villagers retrieved the bodies and transported them to a nearby medical center, where doctors pronounced them dead. There is intense grief and mourning upon the return of the bodies to their homes.
