PIA launches six weekly flights to Istanbul

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan International Airline has resumed its flight operations to Turkey from Nov 15th, it emerged on Saturday. The national carrier has completed all the required preparations. PIA will operate six weekly flights from Pakistan to Turkey. The PIA and Turkish Airlines have agreed on the codeshare agreement. Travelers from Pakistan would be allowed to fly from Istanbul to destinations in Europe, the UK, and the USA. Now, passengers would be able to travel to 28 cities from Istanbul. Initially, four flights from Islamabad, while 2 flights from Lahore will be operated by Boeing 777. The decision is expected to bring in significant revenue for the national flag carrier that has been trying to cut down on operational costs.

Corps Commander Peshawar visits Mir Ali and Bara

ISLAMABAD: Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat Saturday visited Mir Ali, North Waziristan District and Bara, Khyber District, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday. During his visit to Mir Ali, Corps Commander inaugurated Army Public School and also visited Boys Hostel and Pakistan Sweet Home. Pakistan Sweet Home was established in 2017 and 96 orphans from Mir Ali and Miran Shah are currently availing the facility free of any expense. The establishment of Army Public School was popular demand by the locals in which students from Grade 1 to 8 will study. The school has the capacity to enrol 525 students at one time. Khadkucha levies arrests two alleged thieves

MASTUNG: Khadkucha levies claimed to have arrested two alleged thieves on the charge of stealing coils of electric transformer, LTs and five proclaimed offenders in different operations conducted in the Khadkucha area of district Mastung in Balochistan province on Saturday. A large quantity of coils of transformer and LTs were also recovered from the possession of alleged accused. Looting and thefts continues unchecked in Larkana

LARKANA: Unrest in Larkana could not be stopped; rather there was an increase in criminal offenses in the city. The criminals stole lakhs of rupees from a mobile phone shop and escaped unhurt and a mobile phone was also forcibly robbed from the lawyer here as reported on Saturday as the lawlessness continued to hit the hard-earned residents.
