Naundero:Lawlessness still prevails in the hometown of Bhutto leaders as the home of a lecturer was looted by unknown thieves depriving him of golden ornaments worth millions of rupees when the house was empty.

According to details, unknown criminals entered the house of lecturer Naimatullah Channo in Ghirghal Shah Muhalla during darkness last night after cutting locks of his home and deprived him of 22 tola golden ornaments, cash of Rs25000 and other valuables. He told newsmen that all the inmates had gone to Khairpur on sudden demise of his close relative and neighbors informed us when they spotted our main entrance open and locks broken.

He said he immediately reached and informed the Naundero police, they arrived, inspected the premises and left without telling me anything about the recovery or chasing the gangs. He said 22 tola golden ornaments, Rs25000 cash and other valuables have been stolen by the criminals who seem to be very active when they come to know about an empty house.

SHO Shahid Memon said that eight signs have been noted from the affected house and they are probing the matter further. It must be noted that the house of one landlord Nazir Abro was also burgled six months ago during night time in Gharibabad locality and he lost over two crore rupees worth material which the police have so far failed to recover.

The residents have demanded operation cleanup against the active gangs active in the adjoining areas and curbing them with iron hands of law so that they can sleep at night comfortably.
