The Sindh police has promoted 233 Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspector, according to a notification issued by the Sindh police today.
Among those promoted are two female police officers. Of the 233 promoted officers, 191 have received unconditional promotions, while the promotions of 42 officers are conditional.
A total of 345 Sub-Inspectors were considered by the Departmental Promotion Committee for the Inspector’s positions.
The promoted officers are drawn from various ranges and districts across Sindh. However, 112 Sub-Inspectors were not selected for promotion due to departmental disciplinary actions and other matters.
