LARKANA:Under the supervision of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Larkana, the annual examinations of the ninth and tenth classes have started in the entire Larkana Division and Dadu, here on Monday where on the first day, the Sindhi paper of the ninth class was taken 45 minutes late.
Most of the candidates were seen copying through guides and mobile phones inside the examination centers under the nose of invigilators which exposed the BISE efforts to stop copy culture which has already ruined the education examination system and exposed education standards in Sindh.
According to the Controller of Examinations a total of 158 centers have been established for the ninth and tenth class candidates, of which 44 are in Larkana, 26 in Qambar-Shahdadkot, 28 in Shikarpur, 17 in Jacobabad, 22 in Kashmore @ Kandhkot and 21 in Dadu.
A total of 42 vigilance teams have been formed by the Board to prevent copying in all the centers, including 15 vigilance teams of the education board and 27 vigilance teams of the education department, who will visit various examination centers and nab the copying candidates to stop the menace of copy culture but so far they have failed to accomplish their primary job.
